Corally RDX Phi '09 - 2009 Australian National Champion.

Ari Bakla TQ'd and won the 2009 Australian National touring car modified title. This makes it four years in a row for Corally and RDX line of touring cars.

Race Report:

The 2009 Australian National Titles were held over the weekend of 19th-22nd November. With over 150 Entries it had promised to be a string contested event... and it delivered. The competition was not the only thing that was hot... with air temps above the 40 Degree Celsius mark for most of the weekend. Smoked motors and thermal-ling ESC's were the norm, everyone gearing down to keep the temps as low as possible.

Team Corally were strong once again with Ari Bakla (TQ), Simon Nicholson (3rd) and Jake Zarb (5th) making the A-main final. Ari was hot all weekend, setting TQ and winning the first two finals to wrap up the win, this giving Corally 4 straight National Title wins in the Modified class. Simon Nicholson (defending Champion) finishing a strong third, while Jake after a strong 3rd place finish in the first main, suffered traffic and tweak issues for the last two finals placing.
